Lichtenberg figures are the natural patterns that are created from electricity traveling through an overly insulated medium.  When the charge is strong enough it will always find a way.  The pattern shown here was created by layering multiple Lichtenberg figures, one on top the next.  The result is yet another example of the beauty of science and the natural world around us.
